Who Are You, Really?

Don’t say ‘a human’.

Don’t say “I am a human.”

Don’t say “I am a father / son / brother / sister / daughter / mom / stepmom / etc.”

Don’t say “I am a broker / designer / businessman / writer / painter / marketer / etc.”

Don’t say “I am a woman / man / gay / heterosexual / queer / etc.”

Don’t say “I am Russian / American / British / Irish / etc.”

You may be these things, but they don’t define you. You are the infinity that remains when you subtract your race, gender, profession, status, family roles, nationality, species.

Who are you, really?

(Me? I am the guy with a flashlight when it suddenly got dark, guiding people out, making sure they don’t forget to look out the window because it’s really beautiful outside.)
