Hey Crissi Langwell and Matthew Spira, I totally agree with you both. You need to read if you want to learn to write. If you love reading, you will love writing, and vice versa. What I meant was more about not becoming jealous of other writers, and not spending time and procrastinating on reading ‘writing tips’ (which is a bit ironic, considering that this piece is a writing tip itself).
