I totally agree. Emoji stripped us out of real emotion. We think they communicate emotion — they actually don’t. It’s still a long time before internet communication becomes a real alternative for a live one, as we communicate in so many more ways than just words. It’s the energy, the face expression, the body language, the tone, the eyes, etc…
