Annie, what a wonderful piece. I totally agree. In my experience, making it a system helps. That way, I don’t have to think about what to do today. I know that I need to sit down and work on my project/article/writing/whatever for 2–3 hours (deep work) and then I can call it a day.

Having this approach really helps.
