Angela Yurchenko, I totally agree with this one. ‘Just go with your truth’. That’s something very easy to forget.

For me, there are 2 ‘tools’ for dealing with letting go:

  1. I ask myself: ‘Will this matter in 5 years?’ — 99% things won’t. => If it does, I’ll stick to it. If it doesn’t, I let go and quit.
  2. I ask myself: ‘What can I control and what’s outside my zone of control?’. That’s something related to stoicism, ‘dichotomy of control’. It’s about focusing yourself on what you can actually change, instead of beating up a dead horse.
